FELLOWSHIP

Fellowships are open to young persons who feel a social and moral responsibility towards the poor and disadvantaged and are desirous of helping communities play a larger role in improving the quality of their lives. The underlying principle is to give start up support to development interns, who nurse a vision, but lack the resources to give shape to this. Presently there are three categories of fellowships under RGVN: Tata-RGVN Fellowship RGVN Fellowship and Prabhab Dutta fellowship
Certain areas in which an applicant can be engaged are the following:

Expanding economic opportunities, strengthening bargaining power, and developing markets that are more responsive to the poor
Strengthening health care delivery systems, increasing access to essential medicines, and establishing public-private partnerships that foster health equity.
Programmes that engage youth in the development process or in disaster management through participation, encouraging decision making, responsibility, teamwork and creativity.
initiatives that amplify the voices of producer groups and effectively organize them , increasing their bargaining power
Creating broad solutions that protect the environment while also tackling closely linked social problems
