Awareness Programme on Heath and Safety for weavers at Sualkuchi to be held in Collaboration with AIACA on 20th September 2011

On 23rd August 2011 RGVN distributed Water Filters in a meeting held at the Harijan Community, Ulubari as an initiative towards working with these Communities in Guwahati. A baseline survey conducted in these areas with the help of summer interns brought into forefront the need for safe drinking water in these areas. RGVN also plans to improve their sanitary condition in the near future.

On 16th September 2011 RGVN along with Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCBPL) will be giving scholarships to the needy students from Nongthymmai and Rangsakona village in Byrnihat area under the RGVN-HCCBPL CSR project.
