TARGET GROUP & CORE PROGRAMMES

RGVN has chosen to focus on a target group with a minimal asset base and minimal access to critical resources like land, labour and credit and thus may be classified as primarily survival and,to a limited extent,subsistence oriented. RGVN's experience shows that when left to themselves, women make the best and most viable choice of livelihood generation activities.

The target group is reached through 5 key programmes:

	NGO Support Programme(NGOSP)
	Credit & Savings Programme
	Capacity Building for NGOs
	Low Cost Housing Programme
	Fellowship Programme

While these five programmes form the part of the core strategies of RGVN, collaborative projects are an integral part of the organisation's strategy.

Also, RGVN extends relief and rehabilitation support to NGOs as and when the need arises.
